  Monthly Report

Investment Objective

The objective of the Desjardins Dividend Income Fund is to provide a high level of income, mostly in the form of dividends, and, to a lesser degree, long-term capital growth. To do so, portfolio managers invest mainly in Canadian securities and, to a lesser extent, in foreign income-producing securities.

Investment Strategies
  • Weighting of each asset class based on market forecasts and potential
  • Investment in income-producing securities (equity securities that generate dividends, government and corporate bonds, income trust and other securities, mainly from Canadian issuers)
  • Possibility of investing up to 30% in foreign securities considered to be undervalued and with at least US$10 billion in stock market capital at the time of the investment

What Are the Main Risks of Investing in this Fund?

Risks are related to the issuer, the market, interest rates, credit, foreign securities, currencies, and erosion of capital (T-Class units only).
